Student Struggle Editorial Team

Here is the press release issued by the Central Executive Committee of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI), protesting the RSS attack on SFI activists in Gujarat.

Press Release

Agman and Kawan, SFI leaders from Gujarat were kidnapped by ABVP – RSS goons from modasa, Aravalli around 6 PM yesterday. They Were kidnapped and brutally attacked by a gang of more than 40 RSS goons and till now, no complaints have been taken by the Gujrat Police in this regard. It was only because of the timely interventions from other comrades that Comrades Agman and Kawan could escape the Hindutva hooliganism.

It should be noted that SFI in Gujarat had been showing tremendous growth in recent years despite being regularly bullied and threatened by criminal goons of Hindutva. SFI in Gujarat has been even able to contest and win seats at the central university of Gujarat. The creation of ground for Democratic student politics and scientific temper in Gujrat by SFI has always been a nightmare for the ABVP & other rifhtwing forces. Thus, our comrades were the targets of their hatred politics from day 1.

Comrades Agman and Kawan were kidnapped during fund collection for the upcoming “All India Jadha ” of SFI, which upholds the slogans of ” Save Education, Save constitution, Save India”. The attack against our comrades in Gujarat should be considered as the warning from divisive forces of the country against the idea of SFI and its decision to conduct an All India Jadha across the nooks and corners of the country.

SFI CEC Salutes the valour and dedication of our Gujrat comrades who fights on the ground against Hindutva forces. We demand a fair investigation by the Gujarat police in this issue to bring out the culprits to the public. SFI Central Executive Committee urges every unit across the country to observe national protest day on 1st August 2022 ( Monday) Against The RSS Hooliganism and kidnapping of comrades in Gujarat.
