First State Conference of the Jammu and Kashmir Students’ Federation (JKSF) was held at Kulgam of South Kashmir on December 4, 2022. A State Organising Committee was in charge of coordinating activities of JKSF since last two years. The State Conference was held after expanding the organisation to various parts of Jammu and Kashmir by taking up different activities including the recently held inauguration of SFI All India Jatha at Srinagar.

VP Sanu, SFI All India President inaugurated the conference. 150 delegates from nine districts attended the daylong conference. SFI General Secretary Mayukh Biswas and Central Secretariat member Nitheesh Narayanan addressed the conference. Aqib Yousuf placed the political-organisational report which was followed by discussions by the delegates. The conference also passed various resolutions on employment, education, building infrastructure, etc. JKDYF leaders Irfan Gul and Abbas Rather, District Development Council Chairman Mohd Afsal Parry and DDC member Mohiuddin greeted the conference. The conference concluded with electing 21-member new committee of JKSF with Hanan Hussain as President and Aqib Yousuf as General Secretary. The conference gave a call to expand the organisation to rest of the districts and also fight for the democratic and educational rights of the students in the state.
